Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-21
If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), or in another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can require that your personal information not be sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page sets out how to exercise that right with Plantskinmen.
What We Do That Counts
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. What can happen is narrower: where advertising is served on this site, advertising cookies and device identifiers may be made available to advertising partners. The statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are wide enough to capture that arrangement, so we treat it as opt-out-able rather than argue about the label. It applies site-wide, to casual visitors and regular readers alike.
What Changes
Once opted out, we stop sharing advertising identifiers with ad partners. Advertising itself may continue in generic form. There is no penalty of any kind: the site is not degraded, restricted, or priced differently for readers who opt out.
Submitting an Opt-Out
You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@plantskinmen.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
This is one right among several; the rest are in our State Privacy Notice.
